The plot thickens! During part one of the Teen Mom reunion with Dr. Drew, Ryan Edwards dropped some major bombshells about his battle with addiction. Fans of the show know that Ryan's ex and baby mama, Maci Bookout, won't allow him to be alone with their nine-year-old son Bentley unless the 30-year-old takes and passes a drug test. Ryan explained on the reunion episode that he hasn't taken a hair follicle test because he knows he won't pass, but he's open to taking a urine test.

So why hasn't he done even that yet? Ryan said it simply "hasn't been discussed." Not only did Ryan open up about his failure to take the tests, but he also revealed what actually happened when he got arrested in March 2017 on charges of possession of heroin. "I got pulled over with drugs in the car," he explained. As for his arrest in March 2018, Ryan still has yet to comment.

Since leaving rehab early, Ryan hasn't talked to a therapist much — which was treatment suggested to him once he left the facility. "It's honestly hard to find a counselor because of this TV show," he explained. "[A counselor] was like, 'I'm not gonna see you because I don't think the TV show and you are a good idea." While Dr. Drew asked him about looking into a free 12-step program, Ryan shrugged off the suggestion.

The Teen Mom OG star's calm attitude quickly changed when Maci was called on stage. "I'm not sitting out here with her. I'm done. I'm not going out there with her," he said. "Last time I had a conversation with her I got mad, and I'm already mad anyways. She's full of it, man, and I'm not getting myself upset."

His wife, Mackenzie Standifer — who is pregnant with their first child together — chimed in and said that Maci had previously lied to Dr. Drew when she said Ryan never responded to her texts. From backstage, Maci fired back at a nearby producer and said that she has proof Mackenzie and Ryan are lying. "It's like he sends all these text messages and he claims I don't answer them, he can ask me out there," she said. "Pull out my phone. He deletes them!"

Maci and Ryan have been trying to co-parent their son Bentley for years, but have used the guidance of Ryan's parents — Jen and Larry Edwards — to help out. In the final moments of part one of the reunion show, Ryan's mom insisted that there are still things going on between the former flames that fans don't get to see. "I think there’s a lot that goes on between Maci and Ryan that nobody knows about," she explained.

When Dr. Drew prodded with, "Still?" Jen simply replied, "Yeah."
