A lot has gone down at the 2017 VMAs, from Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” music video world premiere to Lorde’s interpretive dance-filled performance. And now, singer Kesha is sparking pregnancy rumors after she introduced hip hop artist Logic and his emotional song “1-800-273-8255”, which is the number for the suicide prevention hotline.

The 30-year-old not only wore a giant, multi-layered pale pink dress to the awards show — that conveniently masked her belly — but while on camera, she placed her hand over her stomach, the universal signal for “I’m knocked up.” It didn’t take long for Twitter to start speculating.

“Is @Kesha pregnant?!?” one fan wrote, while another added, “Is Kesha pregnant?! I’m being dead serious. I googled it and some news sources are saying so and the pics look very pregnant.”

Apart from obvious interest in her maybe baby bump, the “TiK ToK” songstress touched the VMAs audience with her speech about depression. “It has been said that if you knew who walked beside you, you would never experience fear and doubt again,” she shared. “The truth is piercing and the truth is what matters. The truth is none of us are alone.”

Kesha, who has been open about her battle with mental illness, previously read a note that she has written to her 18-year-old self earlier this summer. “The bad news is, you nearly killed yourself on the road to success, fueled by fear of failure, crippling anxiety, and insecurity,” she wrote.

“You will become severely bulimic and anorexic — and the worse your disease gets the more praise you will get from some people in your industry, and this will really, really mess with your head. But when you are trying to live up to an unrealistic expectation, it’s never gonna be good enough no matter what you do,” she added. We’re proud of the blonde beauty for her powerful statement!
