Is Kate Hudson finally ready to tie the knot? Don’t hold your breath.
The actress, 34, who’s been engaged to Muse frontman, Matt Bellamy, since spring of 2011 recently opened up about getting married, admitting that it’s happening… just not any time soon.
"I look forward to it," the Reluctant Fundamentalist star said of her wedding. "We'll both figure it out. We've been both very busy, but it will happen."
The star, who is mother to sons Ryder, 9, and Bingham, 21 months, is admittedly too busy with her many mommy duties to plan a wedding. But this isn’t out of the ordinary for the star, who grew up in a similar situation.

“When I was a kid, my brothers and sisters and I wanted my parents to get married. We ended up with something far more powerful,” she recently told Elle UK. ”We were all together at home, Dad gave Mum a ring and said some beautiful words. It was their own version of the ceremony and I remember it so well. It was like it was about us. The family was the glue.”
At the end of the day, Kate is perfectly happy with the life she leads.
“We will get married. I do think it’s important, but we have no plans,” she says of her relationship with Matt. “[Ryder] wants a party. For me it’s not the legal part that is important, it’s what it means to the family.”
Kate was previously married for seven years to Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes.
