New Report: Inside
Beyonce and Jay Z's
and What Caused That
Rumors have been circling for months that all is not well in the marriage of Beyonce and Jay Z, and one source is now telling the New York Post that, "it’s not whether they’ll split, but how they’ll split."
Well, we all know whose side Solange will be on.
According to this latest report, the one, and perhaps only, thing that does seem to be keeping the duo together is their “On the Run” tour, which seems poised to gross a nice $100 million. Not that the money is all that important to them.
"They know they’re the king and queen of hip-hop — and really, all of music," says a source. "Neither wants to lose that.”
Since the beginning of their relationship, Beyonce and Jay have done a masterful job of controlling their image, and avoiding the spotlight all together by managing to somehow stay out of the public eye unless they were on tour or had an album to promote. They are perhaps the most famous couple in the world, and their wedding was a small and intimate affair that almost no one knew about. That is some impressive stuff.
That all changed however, a little over two-months ago when a camera inside an elevator at the Standard Hotel in NYC caught Solange Knowles attacking her brother-in-law in a fit of rage as they left a party following the Met Ball. The video did not have audio, meaning only Beyonce, Jay, Solange and their bodyguard know exactly what happened, but that hasn't stopped people from coming up with their own theories and ideas.
“Solange was like, ‘Enough is enough — you must be [screwing] Rihanna,’” the source claims. “To many people who know them, they know it’s not out of the realm of possibility.”
The biggest hint however, that this split might be real is the fact that Beyonce had her “IV” tattoo, drawn on her finger to celebrate her birthday, Jay's birthday and their wedding, erased - a pretty sure sign things are over.
If these rumors of a split are true, there is one thing the source says will not happen, and that is any sort of publicity or discussion of their private lives.
“There’s face-saving involved — they don’t want to be looked at like other celebrities out there. They are business people first, entertainers second. Husband and wife comes somewhere down the line.”
