Kailyn Lowry Posts Sweet Snap of Isaac With His Grandma Janet

In the early days of Teen Mom 2, Jo Rivera’s parents Janet and Eddie were central characters. They took in Kailyn Lowry when her own mother left her homeless — and Janet’s tough love and support for the mother of her grandchild Isaac made her an instant fan favorite.

In recent years, however, Isaac’s paternal grandparents haven’t been seen as much on the show — leaving many wondering if they’re still in the little one’s life. And the answer is a resounding yes! Kail even posted a sweet photo of Janet at Grandparent’s Day at Isaac’s school to prove it. Check out the video to see for yourself!

Isaac, 7, is especially lucky to have such a close bond with Janet considering he likely doesn’t know his maternal grandma, Suzy. Kail has had an infamously complicated relationship with her alcoholic mother, who left her pregnant teenage daughter to fend for herself. Most recently, Kail confessed that she reached out to her mother to tell her about the birth of her third child, but Suzy never responded. Kail detailed their tumultuous relationship in her debut memoir Pride Over Pity.

“I remember being dropped off at friends’ houses and sometimes not getting a phone call for what seemed like days,” the mother-of-three wrote. “In those times, when she would disappear for days without warning, I’d wonder if I would ever see her again.”
