Honey Boo Boo’s Sister Anna Gets Engaged – After Her Fiancé Pops the Question on a Pizza!

TLC

There are few moments in a woman’s life as important as the moment that special someone gets down on one knee and pops the question.

And that moment happened on last night’s episode of Here Comes Honey Boo when Honey Boo Boo’s sister Anna got engaged.

Her boyfriend managed to ask her in a way that was not only unique and unforgettable, but also extremely personal and romantic.

Anna and Michael

Anna’s fiancé, Michael, served up one steamin’ hot—albeit cheesy—“redneck proposal” complete with a “Marry Me?” (spelled in pepperoni) pizza and group of dancing hillbillies—including a shimmying Honey Boo Boo!

The proposal, which took place on New Year's Eve, didn’t come as a surprise to the entire family. Michael had asked the 19-year-old’s parents (Mama June and family patriarch Sugar Bear) for Anna—also known as Chickadee’s—hand in marriage.

“Her and Kaitlyn… I love them with all my heart,” the newest member of the family said, referring to Anna and her 1-year-old daughter. “I wouldn’t trade them for nothing.”

When it came time for the life-changing moment, the Thompson family and all their friends danced for the soon-to-be-married sister, creating a path for Michael and Kaitlyn so they could walk down to Anna.

Michael then got down on one knee and opened the box—the pizza box, that is!

“Will you marry me, Anna?’ he said.

“I think I’m gonna cry” she said, which was followed by a "yes". She smooched her new fiancé as he slipped the engagement ring on her finger.

Keeping up with the “redneck proposal” theme, Michael even managed to snag camouflage bling!

Talk about the icing on the cake—or, more appropriately, the pepperoni on the proposal pizza!
