Is nothing sacred anymore? Not even beloved ‘90s rom-coms that are filled to the brim with high school clichés and corny love stories?
According to a new report by ‘The Wrap,’ a reboot of teen classic She’s All That is currently in the works!
And if you’re not happy about it, you’re in good company: One of the stars of the 1990 original, Freddie Prinze Jr., isn’t thrilled about the news, either!

When a fan tweeted, “You know, just Hollywood running out of ideas one more time. But what’s new?” he replied, “Tough for writers with original scripts.”

The reports states the remake — which will allegedly be directed by Kenny Leon and produced by Tonya Lewis (aka Mrs. Spike Lee) — is “being developed with diverse leads in mind.”
For those of you unfamiliar with the original, the movie — based loosely on the classic play, ‘Pygmalion’ — tells the story of a popular jock (FPJ) who makes a bet that he can turn an unattractive outcast (Rachael Leigh Cook) into the prom queen.
Also, it’s available on Netflix and by not watching it ASAP, you are doing yourself a major disservice…
