Since the release of her memoir, Down the Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures and Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny, things have been tense between Holly Madison and her one-time boyfriend, Hugh Hefner.
And while the 89-year-old Playboy mogul has accused the mom-of-one, 35, of “rewriting history,” Holly tells In Touch Weekly she’s done letting her ex get her down!

“I won’t let myself be afraid of him,” she told the mag at a signing for her book at Barnes & Noble at The Grove in LA.
“I spent too many years like that. [Hef] has no mental or emotional power over me anymore. I walked away from that seven years ago [when I left the mansion]. He is completely out of my life now.”

And he’s not the only one from her Girls Next Door days that she’s left behind.
Holly is estranged from her former costar, Kendra Wilkinson — though the ladies have frequently spoken publicly about one another.
Most recently, Kendra, 30, accused Holly of using her memoir to get “revenge” on Hef.
“The one thing she truly wanted was a piece of that stock, a piece of Playboy and a piece of Hef’s will,” Kendra explains to People.
“She considers herself a failure because she did whatever it took to get that and she didn’t get what she wanted in return. Hef is the most amazing human being. Behind the scenes, people that actually know the truth are laughing their asses off. This is not even real. This person is out for revenge.”
