Despite rising to fame as the leader of a prostitute ring in Hollywood in the '90s, Heidi Fleiss became well known in pop culture through the 2000s for appearing on Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew in 2009 and Celebrity Big Brother in 2010. However, she's been much less visible lately. So what has she been up to? We did some digging, so read on to find out!
Heidi has left the glamour of Hollywood behind to live a simpler life in Pahrump, NV, where she has a 10-acre ranch, according to People. Though she's been in some specials and documentaries, she mostly keeps to herself now. She is no longer involved in sex work, and instead focuses on caring for more than 20 exotic birds that a neighbor left to her when he died. "I fell in love with these birds and I lost interest in the sex business,” she explains to author David Friend in his book The Naughty Nineties. “I’ll never turn my back on them.”
However, just because she "lost interest" doesn't mean she's not still supportive of legalizing prostitution. “Sex for money will happen no matter what.” she wrote in her column for Legal Affairs. “You can’t stop sex.”

Heidi is 51 years old now, but recent photographs of her walking her dogs in Hollywood, CA on Oct. 24 show her looking much older. That's likely because she had been heavily abusing meth, though she now say's she's kicked the habit, calling it a "white trash drug" in David's book.
Heidi is still reportedly worth $5 million thanks to her appearances, columns, and reality shows, according to The Richest. However, that's nothing compared to the money she was making at the height of being a madam. She once claimed she was raking in nearly $100,000 per night and made one million in her first four months.
Heidi is not married, though she's reportedly been with Nevada Bunny Ranch owner Dennis Hof for several years (what a perfect match!)
