Spin City star Heather Locklear was arrested and charged with felony domestic violence and battery on a police officer. According to TMZ, the incident took place on Sunday night when cops responded to a domestic violence call at her Thousand Oaks home.
During the arrest, Heather, 56, allegedly got violent and attacked a police officer. This resulted in three counts of misdemeanor battery. There is no information on who Heather allegedly assaulted and she is currently in the process of posting bail. Just two days ago, she posted a photo on Instagram with her pup on the way to Boston. She was also recently starring in the Tyler Perry TV series Too Close to Home.
Heather has a history of substance abuse and was arrested for a DUI in 2008. Ultimately, the DUI charge was dropped but two years later she was arrested again for a hit-and-run accident. Last year, the veteran actress opened up about her past struggles and claimed to be feeling better than ever. "I am feeling great and am taking steps to enrich and better my life," she told Entertainment Tonight. "Currently, I am working on tying up some loose ends regarding certain issues, so I can hit 2017 full steam ahead."
She was previously married to rocker Tommy Lee and Bon Jovi musician Richie Sambora, with whom she shares 20-year-old daughter Ava Sambora. She was most recently linked to her high school sweetheart Chris Heisser — who served two years in prison for grand theft and identity fraud. "Heather was on a self-destructive path and wound up in rehab. She was so low, she reached out to Chris," a source told Radar Online, "He’s bad news and a real bad fit for Heather." Past boyfriends also include David Spade, Tom Cruise, and her Melrose Place co-star Jack Wagner.
