Heading Down the Aisle
With Casper Soon?
Lopez Says She Still
Believes in Marriage
Jennifer Lopez isn’t letting her two – wait, scratch that – three failed marriages stop her from potentially walking down the aisle again!
During the Television Critics Association tour in Pasadena, Calif., on Monday to promote the new season of American Idol, Jenny from the block admitted she’d consider getting married again.
“You know, I always believe in that institution,” she told In Touch.
“My parents were married for a very long time. They were married for 35 years. I believe in it.”
But the brunette bombshell is the first person to explain how hard it can be.
“It’s difficult. I’ve had my challenges,” she explained. “But at the same time, I believe in love. And I think that’s the main thing.”
And it seems like her boyfriend, Casper Smart, could be the one – she couldn’t stop gushing about him!
“He’s fantastic with the kids [her 5-year-old twins with estranged husband Marc Anthony, Max and Emme] and he helps me very much with my work,” she told the mag.
The Bronx native began dating her former back-up dancer in October 2011 – three months after she split with Marc. The Spanish crooner filed for divorce in April 2012.
To call the beauty’s dating history interesting is quite an understatement.
She was engaged to actor Ben Affleck, but the pair called it off in January 2004 – just five months before she said, “I do” to Marc.
From September 2001 to June 2002, she was married to former back-up dancer Chris Judd.
And in February 1997, she wed Cuban waiter Ojani Noa, only to divorce him less than a year later.
For now, it seems Jenny is strictly concentrating on her return to Fox’s Idol, which premieres its 13th season on Wednesday at 8 p.m.
“I never planned to do the show for more than a year and I did it for two years because I loved it so much,” said the mom of two, who sat on the judges’ panel during seasons 10 and 11.
“When they asked me to come back after the third year, it was one of those tough decisions I had to make,” she added. “When they asked me back again, the decision was just as difficult because of the time frame. I’m having a great time.”
