Has Miranda Kerr Lost
Touch of Childhood
Self? Her Family’s
Wish for a ‘Normal,
Apparently, there is way more than meets the eye—or body in this case—when it comes to Miranda Kerr.
What her family reveals on an upcoming ABC1 Family Confidential episode, will be a side we’re not used to seeing on the sweet Victoria’s Secret angel.
"There were so many people who said 'Oh Miranda, she used to be this nice little girl who we could get to do anything,’” her father John says, ‘whereas now she's like ‘You know what, I'm not doing that anymore.’”
When Kerr moved to New York roughly five years ago, her parents warned her, “The day you think you’re better than anyone else, is the day you don’t model under our guidance.”
At 30 years old, it seems that the single mother is acting out on free will. On Feb. 6, Kerr shared a photo of her cleavage wearing a black push-up bra.
"Grrrr ❤️🐯❤️," she captioned the Instagram photo.
She was also seen wearing just a t-shirt supporting Miley Cyrus’ LOVE magazine cover via one of the Editor-in-chief’s Instagram photos.
John Kerr, realizing his daughter’s lavish lifestyle has taken a turn on her, wants nothing but normalcy for her.
"I wish she was just a normal, everyday girl, I really do,” he says.
The supermodel split from Orlando Bloom in October after a three-year marriage and they both have a three-year-old son, Flynn, together.
“After what I know now, I would rather she did just marry a nobody because you really can't get that family time by yourself,” Mr. Kerr adds.
“I just hope Flynn grows up and he wants to be with his nan and pop."
Kerr’s Grandmother Ann can’t help but feel the same way. Even though she is “worried” about Miranda, she is more worried for Flynn—keeping her "fingers crossed" they might be reunited again.
“Our little Flynn doesn't know what it's like to walk outside without paparazzi," she says.
"I miss the baby and I think he's missing out on family—that closeness that we have always had."
More shocking details of the supermodel’s relationship with her family will be seen when the episode airs Tuesday, Feb. 11 at 8 p.m. on ABC1.
