Blake Shelton, 39, and Gwen Stefani, 46, shocked fans when they announced that they recorded a duet for Blake’s upcoming album, If I’m Honest — and now the country star can’t help but gush over their song, “Go Ahead and Break My Heart.”

“[The song] is very personal for us both because, you know, we obviously have this bond that is remarkable together,” he told Entertainment Tonight.
“But the fact that we wrote a song together — I know that I don't co-write that much because I'm very insecure about it I guess and [Gwen’s] kind of got her circle of people that she writes with. But for us to reach out to each other as writers, it may never happen again, who knows.”
If I’m Honest drops May 20. The first single, “Came Here to Forget,” was released last month.
“The last year and a half of my life has literally blown up in my face. And that’s okay because I’m a country singer, and I at least get to take all of that and put it into music,” Blake previously revealed.

“It’s not like there’s all these juicy details, but it definitely just lends itself to the emotions and things that you go through when you go through a divorce,” he added.
We can’t wait to hear their song!
