This is devastating.
A new report claims an unidentified gunman opened fire in a Nashville movie theater during a screening of Mad Max: Fury Road on Wednesday afternoon. TMZ reports that the gunman was later killed by a SWAT officer and another victim was injured.
"At this point, there is a report that one person may have suffered a wound from the hatchet. That's still being sorted out by the fire department now. Trying to figure out what injuries we may have here," public information officer Don Aaron told Yahoo.
The suspect was carrying two backpacks at the time, which are being investigated.
This comes on the heels of the Lafayette, L.A. movie theater shooting, which took place during the Trainwreck premiere back in July.
