This is devastating.
Andrew Quarless — tight end for NFL team the Green Bay Packers — and his partner Rosie Sierra are mourning the death of their baby daughter, who died at birth last Wednesday.
The 26-year-old returned to the field on Saturday for training camp after missing the first two practices, which was speculated to have stemmed from his July 4 arrest when he allegedly shot a gun in public in Miami Beach, FL.
Sportscaster Jason Wilde shared this update via Twitter on Monday.

"He was really looking forward to being a big brother," Andrew said of their five-year-old son, Aiden, via ESPN.
Packers coach Mike McCarthy spoke out on Saturday, stating, "Andrew obviously has been gone because of what him and his family have been dealing with. From a professional standpoint, you’ve got to make sure that he’s OK, and that’s the priority. But as far as his workload, just treat him as if it was his first day."
