Well-known graffiti artist KATSU reeeeeeally wanted to give Kendall Jenner's new Calvin Klein billboard in NYC a bit of color.
So he decided to vandalize it on Wednesday.
The tag artist used a hacked DJI Phantom drone (a multi-copter device handled via remote control) to paint over the huge ad that's placed in a busy intersection (Houston St. and Lafayette St.) in NYC's trendy SoHo neighborhood.
KATSU attached a can of red spray paint to the device and launched the drone up six stories for the job.
"It was a bit tense. It turned out surprisingly well," he told ‘Wired.’ "It's exciting to see its first potential use as a device for vandalism."
The job took less than a minute to complete, but was slightly difficult to control. The vandal says he's developing a new model that will make the process easier, but would not provide details.
