From the television screen to the palm of your hands, Glee star Lea Michele is…well, everywhere.
The FOX star has officially landed herself a book deal with Harmony Books imprint of Random House’s Crown Publishing Group the publisher revealed today.
As soon as the news broke, Lea also headed to Twitter to spread the word to her Gleeks.
Due next spring, Brunette Ambition is said to be “part memoir, part how-to and part style guide” that chronicles Lea’s passages “from normal Bronx-born schoolgirl to Broadway child star to lead actress in one of the most popular shows on television.”
But that’s not all! The author will offer “practical advice and lessons” for young women who hope to follow in the starlet’s footsteps.
And she has quite an impressive resumé! Before she was the leading lady on Glee, Lea starred in Spring Awakening, Fiddler on the Roof, Ragtime and Les Misérables on Broadway.
“There wasn’t a guidebook when I was growing up, that detailed everything I would need to do, and know, to get where I am today,” the 26-year-old said in a statement. “But I believe I can write one of sorts: not a how-to-make-it-in-show-business book, but a guide to harnessing tenacity, passion, enthusiasm and hard work to make your dreams come true.”
