Two months after appearing on The View to discuss her and husband Bill's battle with infertility, Giuliana Rancic is still reeling from panelist Whoopi Goldberg's "hurtful" comments. "She made it sound like, gain weight, and you'll have a baby! No, it's not that easy. I did gain weight, and it still didn't work. It was a little hurtful," the E! hostess, looking svelte but healthy, told In Touch at the Tria Beauty Blue Lounge Pop-up Boutique in New York on April 6. Giuliana was describing her struggle to conceive on the
View's February 25 episode when the outspoken Whoopi interjected: "You need to prepare your body for that other person who's going to be there. And
there's no butts. If you want a baby, this is what you have to do. So you have to make that decision." Feeling as though she did not have the chance to defend herself on the ABC talk show, Giuliana is now planning to write an open letter to Whoopi. "I was scolded and told you're not going to be a good mom because you don't want to gain
weight. You don't know my medical records. You don't know my medical history. You don't know anything about me," said Giuliana. Giuliana and Bill are currently undergoing IVF treatments in their hopes to expand their family.
