Autumn Allen, a 13-year-old singer, thought this Mother’s Day would be special — because she went on TV with hopes of being reunited with her mother, who she hadn’t seen since she left America and moved to Cambodia with her father when she was six-years-old.
She went on a Cambodian TV show called Like It Or Not, where she expected to meet her mother. Instead, she ended up the victim of a cruel prank.

While the teen eagerly waited for her mother to come out, she was shocked when the TV crew brought out a male comedian — named Chuop Rolin — dressed in women’s clothes!
Even though Autumn’s dream of meeting her mother didn’t come true, she seemed to have a positive attitude.
On Facebook, she wrote, “Thank you for the enormous show of support regarding the ‘Mother’s Day show.’ I am sure there was no harm intended and I had fun on the show…”
However, after viewers expressed outrage, the network issued an apology to the 13-year-old and she later added on Facebook that they “will be making a public apology soon.”
