The Internet is abuzz after a photo that some believe captured the ghost of a woman and child went viral on Facebook.

Though the woman who took the picture, Natasha Oliver, snapped the eerie photo nearly five years ago in her hometown of Wem in Shropshire, U.K., it’s recently received widespread attention after she commented on a “fake” ghost picture, declaring that photo to be a hoax while she claiming she captured the real deal.

“I truly believe there is a ghost woman and her baby in that window,” the 22-year-old tells ABC News, adding that she and her friends were “freaked out” back when they took the photo in 2010.

After they saw the shadowy figure in the background of the picture, her pals decided to climb the scaffolding to investigate — but they didn’t see anything out of the ordinary at the construction site.

Plenty of naysayers have accused Natasha of altering the pic on Photoshop, but she’s determined to verify its validity with the help of professional photo analysts and paranormal experts.

Although she understands why people are hesitant to believe.

“I didn’t believe in ghosts before, but now I do, actually,” she says. “I’m converted.”
