Season 6 of Vanderpump Rules is right around the corner and we’re honestly so excited our drama-loving hearts could explode into a million pieces. Despite the great news that Stassi Schroeder and Co. will be making a grand return to our small screens come Dec. 4, we’ve also got some sad news to share.
Unfortunately, everyone’s favorite side character/s--t-stirrer Gerelyn “GG” Gilbert will not be making any appearances in the next installment of Pump Rules. Yes, she still works as one of Lisa Vanderpump’s sexy, unique restaurant employees at SUR in West Hollywood, but she's also made a concerted effort to stay away from the cameras this year.
As fans may recall, GG claimed that she hooked up with James Kennedy during Season 5 even though he was (and still is) dating pageant queen Raquel Leviss. GG and her gal pal Ellie (who also alleged she and James were intimate with one another when he wasn’t single) eventually confronted Raquel during one of the British DJ’s performances. And, obvi, it didn’t go well.
When James came over to investigate, GG gave him back "clothes [she] borrowed after sleeping over [his] house,” which ultimately resulted in lots of screaming and drunken insults. The former bus boy vehemently denied GG’s story and insisted to Raquel that he never strayed. While James and Raquel’s relationship is still going strong, GG’s short-lived reality TV career went down in flames after the incident.
Regardless, fans can’t help but wonder what happened to the brunette beauty following her brief infiltration of the Pump Rules social circle. Here, In Touch has rounded up what you should know about GG.
She now works as Corinne Olympios’ assistant.
Though she still clocks in a few hours here and there at SUR, GG also makes money as the Bachelor in Paradise alum’s right-hand woman. During a Tuesday, Nov. 14, appearance on The Morning Breath, Corinne revealed that she “totally stole” GG — and said that the duo recently sat down for dinner at SUR. “We just went to SUR,” she said. “The food was good and I had a tequila lime juice soda because that’s my drink.”
Her favorite Pump Rules star is Lala Kent.
As GG watched Corinne’s interview from the sidelines, The Morning Breath’s Jackie Oshry asked her who she liked the most among the VPR cast. “Lala. But she doesn’t really work there. She just works there for the show. She actually is [a cool girl] and she’s so pretty,” she said of the SUR hostess/aspiring pop star. “I don’t know. Like, anybody who thinks she’s ugly is jealous. She’s so pretty.”
She feels like Bravo “manipulated” her.
GG also said that one of the many reasons she decided to opt out of filming again was because she felt as though producers used her as a pawn for a storyline. “People trying to deceive you and getting manipulated [were the main reasons I left],” she explained, adding that she may have acted a little “extra” because “I was in front of a camera!”
She thinks Lisa Vanderpump is the best boss ever — other than Corinne, of course.
“I love [Lisa!]” GG said on The Morning Breath, gushing over the restaurant owner and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills personality. “Yeah, I really like her a lot actually. She’s cool.”
Vanderpump Rules returns to Bravo for its sixth season on Monday, Dec. 4, at 9 p.m. EST.
