We’ve seen George Clooney play a governor in The Ides of March, but can he be a president in real life?
Since the 53-year-old actor is known to be very involved in politics and is even buddy buddy with President Barack Obama, he’s bound to run for some type of position in the future.
However, reports are claiming this may happen sooner than later.

“He has big ambitions and aims to get into politics immediately,” an insider said. “He hopes to join the Democrats’ 2016 election campaign.”
Once George weds his lawyer fiancée Amal Alamuddin in the fall, he reportedly plans to make her a central part of his campaign.
“Now [that] he has Amal by his side, it will give him more credibility to run for office,” the insider added in an interview with UK’s Daily Mirror.

When he was rumored to be running for office in a past election, he addressed the rumor by saying he had “no interest” at the time.
"As for running for president, look, there's a guy in office right now who is smarter than almost anyone you know, who's nicer and who has more compassion than almost anyone you know,” he said about President Obama. “And he's having an almost impossible time governing. Why would anybody volunteer for that job?"
