Fran Drescher and her ex-husband, Peter Marc Jacobson, may have called it quits in 1999 after he came out as gay — but you wouldn’t have guessed it based on their sex life, she recently joked!
The 57-year-old was honored for her advocacy work for the LGBTQ community at the Stonewall Community Foundation Vision Awards in NYC on Tuesday. While accepting the award, she gave a little shout-out to her “gay ex-husband.”

“I have a gay art dealer, a gay dermatologist — not to mention my hairdresser. I have a gay ex-husband,” she said, per the New York Post.
“People always say to me, ‘How did you not know?’ He loves decorating and fashion and clothes, but we actually did have sex a lot. I didn’t know, at the time, though that in his mind he was f--king the bartender at Olive Garden!”

The Nanny actress and her ex wed in 1978 and separated in 1996, before finalizing their divorce in 1999. Today, the two remain close friends and business partners.
Their experience inspired her short-lived TV Land series Happily Divorced.
Last September, Fran married Shiva Ayyadurai, who is credited with inventing email.
