Paul Mason is literally a third of the man he once was and is still shrinking.
The former world's fattest man has just had life-changing surgery to remove the excess skin that hangs from his body after losing an incredible 650 pounds.
Paul — who once weighed 980 pounds — has been working towards his goal of weighing 200 pounds ever since getting gastric bypass surgery in 2010.

The latest step in this process has been removing all the excess flesh that has been making such mundane tasks as getting in the car to go for a drive and sitting in a regular-sized movie theater seat a hellish experience.

The surgery apparently went well, and the former mailman is recovering in a New York City hospital, 48 pounds of skin lighter than when he went in.
