Richie Sambora has landed in hot water after leaked audio footage believed to feature the former Bon Jovi musician was published by The New York Daily News.
On the tape, he can allegedly be heard threatening to kill and demanding sex from his ex-girlfriend, Nikki Lund.
“Don’t f--king bother me about this anymore,” the man believed to be the 55-year-old guitarist can be heard saying. “Do you understand I could f--king kill you, like I’ll dig you a grave and you’ll f--king be dead. There you go.”
The tape was quoted in a charge evaluation worksheet that was used by the LA County prosecutors in deciding to reject the case on Wednesday, May 13.
This marks the second time authorities opted not to charge Richie in the case.

The Daily News reports the worksheet doesn’t identify his 32-year-old ex by name, but makes reference to a March 31 police report in which she claims the guitarist threatened her.
Authorities have expressed concerns about the authenticity of the audio file, which was allegedly recorded on April 20 because of its similarities to the one listed in the previous police report (filed on March 31).

Additionally, the victim only provided the cops with 21 seconds — which was called a “tiny portion” in the charging sheet — of the conversation.
Reps for both Nikki and Richie declined to comment on the situation.
