Floyd Mayweather was on FaceTime with rapper Earl Hayes when he fired the shots that ended not only his own life, but also killed his wife, Stephanie Moseley.
Now, a new report claims the 37-year-old boxer was urging his friend to end his marriage shortly before the murder/suicide took place.
It’s believed the rapper was upset because of an alleged affair his wife had with singer Trey Songz two years prior. Sources say Floyd said he should leave the ‘Hit the Floor’ star — claiming she was “bad for his career.”

One source says Floyd even instigated and egged Hayes on, telling him he was “weak” for continuing his marriage.
It was then that the rapper said he was going to shoot his wife — and once Floyd realized what was happening, he urged him not to go through with it.

But it was too late.
Law enforcement officials say he went into the bathroom and fired 10 to 12 shots at Stephanie, who was in the bath. When the SWAT team arrived on the scene, they heard one final gunshot — Hayes taking his own life.
TMZ says police are now hoping to speak to Floyd as a witness to this tragic event.
