‘Flip or Flop’ Divorce: Tarek El Moussa Breaks His Silence on Christina’s New Relationship

First, Christina El Moussa spoke out about the drama surrounding her new relationship — and now, her estranged husband and Flip or Flop costar Tarek El Moussa is sharing his thoughts on his wife’s new relationship with Gary Anderson.

Tarek took to Instagram to share a poster for the Bryan Cranston and James Franco movie Why Him — and we have a feeling his choice of movie title is no coincidence!

He captioned the pic, “OMG!!! If you are having a rough day you MUST watch this movie!! I just cried of laughter for two hours. Top three movies ever!!!!!”

Of course, it should come as no surprise that the father-of-two has had quite a few “rough days” in recent weeks.

Just days before he filed for divorce from Christina, she confirmed she was dating their one-time contractor, who was hired to work on their pool in 2015. However, a source close to the couple previously told In Touch that Tarek had reason to believe that Gary and Christina were texting prior to the El Moussas’ separation.

“Christina grew close to Gary,” an insider told In Touch. “Tarek was suspicious that she was getting involved with someone but had no concrete evidence. [In May], Tarek saw Christina’s phone and [believed] there was some inappropriate texting going on between Christina and Gary.”

Tarek and Christina have denied this is the case. In a statement to In Touch, they said, “Neither of us was involved in a romantic relationship with any third party prior to our separation, or believes the other was.”

And that’s hardly the only drama Tarek is currently experiencing.

In Touch also revealed that HGTV is considering suing the El Moussas for breach of contract.

“This is getting really ugly,” the network source told In Touch, exclusively. “HGTV is livid with Tarek and Christina. Flip or Flop just won’t be the same if they’re not together, so execs desperately want them to reunite to save the show. If they can’t do that, the network wants to make it seem like they’re getting along, at least until their contract is over. They were given an ultimatum: Either finish out your contracts or we’ll take you to court [for breach of contract]. The network basically said, ‘You guys need to work together, be seen together as a family, walk down the street together.’”
