‘Flip or Flop’ Divorce: Tarek El Moussa Was “Verbally Abusive” to Christina — He Called Her a “Whore” (EXCLUSIVE)
Things are getting ugly.
Shortly after Tarek El Moussa filed for divorce from his estranged wife Christina, the truth finally came out about the newly single star of Flip or Flop as an insider reveals the father-of-two has a history of being verbally abusive to his wife.

“Tarek treated Christina like garbage,” a source tells In Touch, exclusively, adding that he’d often humiliate the mother of his two young children.
“When she said the wrong thing and they had to do a retake, he got pissed. He often made her cry,” the source adds. “Tarek found humor in humiliating his wife in repeated verbal attacks. Some of his bad behavior was even caught on camera [in footage that never aired]. Tarek called Christina a ‘whore’ on set many times.”
And his physical behavior was troubling as well.

“Once on set, Tarek went up to her and squeezed her breasts. He grabbed her butt all the time. She either did nothing or said, ‘Get away from me,’” the source reveals. Many of these interactions were caught by the crew — though HGTV opted not to show it.
Despite these troubling revelations, Tarek and Christina are being forced to play nice — or risk the likelihood of being sued.
“This is getting really ugly,” a source with the network tells In Touch. “HGTV is livid with Tarek and Christina. Flip or Flop just won’t be the same if they’re not together, so execs desperately want them to reunite to save the show. If they can’t do that, the network wants them to make it seem like they’re getting along, at least until their contract is over. They were given an ultimatum: Either finish out your contracts or we’ll take you to court [for breach of contract]. The network basically said, ‘You guys need to work together, be seen together as a family, walk down the street together.’”
And so far, Christina has cooperated — as she still has her heart set on her own show. She didn’t deny it when asked about her aspirations for her own show at a Success Path seminar on Jan. 14.
“I don’t know,” she said. “I’ve got so many things going on. I’m working on so much already.”
