According to Farrah Abraham, allegations that she’s keeping her daughter Sophia Abraham away from her grandmother Debra Danielsen simply aren’t true. With her mother’s impending nuptials coming up, Farrah reveals that Debra’s behavior is affecting Soph’s desire for a relationship with her grandparent.

“Sophie doesn’t really want a relationship with my mom but I’m still trying to make sure that she is around and keep that relationship surviving and alive,” Farrah told E! News.

Debra, 60, who is known for appearing on Teen Mom OG and the original season of 16 and Pregnant, is gearing up to marry her fiancé Dr. David Merz, but it’s her upcoming wedding that’s causing a deep chasm between her, her daughter, and granddaughter.

“With my mom’s wedding right now, it’s made Sophia not want to be around her,” Farrah continued. “I’m kind of stuck in the middle trying to have everyone get along. Sophie is not approving of it but I am happy for her and supportive.”

Historically, Farrah has not gotten along with her mother’s new beau. Though her parents divorced in 2010 after a tumultuous relationship and abuse allegations, Debra is still amicable with her ex-husband, Farrah’s father Michael Abraham.

“I hope she has an amazing wedding and we send her our best wishes. We are taking her to Italy next week so we just try to keep it cordial,” Farrah continued.

Another relationship Farrah reveals she has been struggling with is her ex-boyfriend Simon Saran. While the on-again, off-again couple is no longer together, they seem to have finally gotten to a good place.

“I would say I’m cordial with my ex but I’m not allowed to talk to him because Sophia doesn’t like him,” she said. “I think my daughter and I are having the times of our lives together right now and when I am [dating again] I’ll let you know.”
