Farrah Abraham Admits She Once Forgot Her Daughter Sophia in a Store — and Fans Are Furious AF

Poor Soph! While hawking a product on Instagram, Farrah Abraham revealed that she once forgot her 8-year-old daughter, Sophia, in a store. The Teen Mom OG star, 26, made the admission in a social media ad for Focus Factor, an herbal supplement meant to help with focus and concentration.

“Ladies (and men) Ever returned to your car and realized you’ve left your child in the store! Omg, this happened once, but since starting @focus.factor Extra Strength there’s no way that will happen!” the MTV personality wrote. “You know I’m momma #1, this gal is getting Sh#% done!”

Naturally, Farrah’s little tidbit about leaving Soph to fend for herself inside a store sent fans into a frenzy. It wasn’t long before the 16 and Pregnant alum’s comments section was flooded with angry messages from followers, criticizing her parenting skills.

“Ummmmmm NO. I mean wtf who forgets their CHILD? Oh wait that’s right……….YOU!” one angry fan wrote, while another fumed, “You definitely would be the parent who forgets their child in a store, because you are so disgustingly self centered! God forbid your own daughter or anyone else takes up any space in your tiny little narrow mind. #poorsophia”

While it is likely that Farrah didn’t write the caption herself — a lot of social media ads are posted with pre-written copy — several fans were flabbergasted that the My Teenage Dream Ended author gave it the green light. “Lmaooo whyyy whyyyyy??? Girl why would you promote something with that caption?” one follower asked.

This isn’t the first time Farrah has been attacked for her parenting choices. In 2013, the Furnished by Farrah owner admitted to waxing Sophia’s “unibrow” — even though she was only four years old at the time. That same year, Farrah infamously announced in an interview with In Touch that she was taking a “break” from her daughter. “She has her own life and is doing her own thing, and I’m doing mine,” she told us at the time.

Despite the flak she’s received over the years, Farrah believes she’s done a great job raising Sophia — whose father, Derek Underwood, died in a car crash before she was born — as a single mom. “Motherhood is great. My daughter’s well-balanced,” she said during an August 2016 interview with the Allegedly podcast. “I’m pretty proud of the parent that I’ve become.”
