The first poster for NBC’s live remake of the Sound of Music—starring Carrie Underwood and Stephen Moyer as Maria and Captain Georg von Trapp—has been released, calling a lot of attention to the network’s rendition of the hit Broadway play and true love story.
Fans seem to have mixed opinions about the American Idol alum taking on the role of the lovable and musical tutor-turned-matriarch; people have expressed nearly every emotion—from excited to disappointed, confused to enthusiastic and nearly everything in between.
