Robert paints a picture of his crumbling marriage in a personal letter to estranged wife Kris (above): “Once I filed for divorce almost all communication ceased and our anger just built up … Imagine what effect this behavior ultimately will have on the children’s future morals, life and general outlook … A real nightmare, isn’t it?”

EXCLUSIVE PICS: Excerpts From The Kardashian Diaries

Although a spokesperson for Kris claimed last week, "We have no knowledge of these diaries existing and these accusations are ridiculous and not true," Ellen verifies the authenticity of these excerpts, telling In Touch: "These are authentic handwritten journals I have shared, that my late husband Robert Kardashian so carefully wrote … at a most trying and touching time of his life. They are my personal possession and he left them to me on his passing."

While Robert was concerned about the impact their divorce and lack of communication would have on the girls’ futures, he was also disturbed by Kris’ ongoing mental and physical abusive behavior toward their children.
