Sanjaya Malakar sure has come a long way since appearing on season six of American Idol, though maybe not in the direction he’d hoped. In a photo obtained by In Touch, the 23-year-old is seen earning extra cash by performing in NYC subway stations. “He was singing ‘(Sittin’ on) the Dock of the Bay,’” an eyewitness, who recently spotted Sanjaya inside the First Avenue L station, tells the mag, on stands now.
