Madonna and her younger brother Christopher Ciccone have come a long way since their infamous 2008 fallout following the publication of his memoir, Life With My Sister Madonna, and the two are finally rekindling their once close relationship. “It’s taken us a while to get back to brother and sister and to a good place,” Christopher, 52, tells In Touch. “But we’re there now.”

"That was probably the low point – but not for me – for our relationship," he says about his closeness with his sister at the time. "It was just my desire to tear away from that and find my own way and get people to understand my involvement in that world and what it was about.” And while Christopher admits that rebuilding his relationship with Madonna, 54, has been hard work, he says that he and his sister have both been making an effort.
“She’s been on the road, so we email each other,” he says. “I actually went to see her recent show in LA. It was great. I can’t imagine that she’s still working that hard. It's amazing.”
