Just months after In Touch exclusively revealed that Scott Disick bailed on the Kardashians’ Christmas card photo shoot in favor of a Vegas appearance, In Touch has also learned of another famous face who was left off the card intentionally — Kim Kardashian’s boyfriend, Kanye West!
“Kanye is 100% not on the family Christmas card,” a source close to the Kardashians exclusively tells In Touch. “Kim has never had a boyfriend on the family Christmas card. The only guy she's ever had on the family card was her first husband. If she marries Kanye, he’ll be on the card. If they get pregnant before they get married, it will have to be discussed with the family. That’s how Scott got on the cards.”
EXCLUSIVE: Scott Bails on Kardashian Christmas Card
In Touch has obtained a copy of the family’s 2012 Christmas card text, where every family member— including Kourtney’s baby daddy, Scott, Khloé’s husband, Lamar Odom, and even Kim’s late kitten, Mercy (who recently passed away from a cancer-like disease)— have a shout-out. Everyone but Kanye, that is.
“Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house, Kim was waiting for Santa, while her cat Mercy played with a mouse,” the opening line states. "Kendall and Kylie hung their stockings on the chimney with care, as Rob was wondering why his SOCK designs were not there!"
Further down, Scott gets his shout-out. “Penelope and Mason were nestled all snug in their beds, while visions of diapers danced in Kourtney and Scott’s heads! As Kris was enjoying her round of nightcaps, Bruce settled down for a long winter's nap."
The card then mentions the youngest Kardashian sis and her basketball player hubby. "Bam! Out of nowhere appeared Santa so chipper!!! Excited to hear that Lamar is a Clipper!!! Khloé! He exclaimed as he drove out of sight, you're an amazing X Factor Host, indeed such a delight!!!"
NEWS: Kim's Kitten Mercy Dies
After news broke that several family members had to be photoshopped onto this year’s greeting, Kris Jenner sat down with Jay Leno on Nov. 21 to discuss the famous card. The Tonight Show host flat-out asked the momager whether Kanye made the cut.
“You're just gonna have to wait and get your card,” Kris said with a smile. “He's a really great guy. He’s really great; he’s great with Kim. They're really happy, and when your kids are happy, you're happy.”
