The Bachelorette's Desiree Hartsock was just a regular all-American girl before men were competing for her hand in marriage on national TV. In Touch has exclusively uncovered her 2003 high school year book photo from Northglenn High School, just outside Denver. Des, pictured here as a high school junior, played volleyball and – like most teens — caught up on as much sleep as she could. She commemorated her time at Northglenn in the school’s yearbook pages: “School gets very boring,” Des, now 27, wrote. “Some days I just sleep in and come to school a little later.” Clearly, she’s not such a slacker when it comes to finding a husband! Desiree made her TV debut on the 17th season of The Bachelor but was sent home by Sean Lowe during the hometown dates. She was soon chosen as The Bachelorette for the show's ninth season, which currently airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC. For more, pick up this week’s issue of In Touch, on newsstands now.
