Eminem’s family has allegedly suffered a devastating loss.
The 43-year-old’s former sister-in-law Dawn Scott — the twin sister of Em’s on-again, off-again lover, Kimberly Scott and the birth mother of the rapper's adopted daughter, Alaina — was reportedly found dead on Tuesday in a Warren, Mich. trailer park following an alleged overdose.

Police officials reportedly confirmed her death, telling Radar Online Dawn succumbed to “an apparent heroin overdose, pending a toxicology test.”
Dawn was allegedly a heavy drug user and had been homeless since 2014. She spoke to Radar back in August about her family refusing to assist her financially.
“I have a millionaire brother-in-law and a sister with money up the ass, but they’re refusing to give me any help. It’s a betrayal. He’s been part of our family since he was 15!” she said at the time.

Dawn's roommate, Les Martin, claimed he tried very hard to save her.
“I’ve been trying like hell to save her life. I’ve had numerous conversations with Kim about trying to get her help and it just wasn’t a conversation she wanted to have," he explained.
