So many people are so caught up with celebrating the Oscars that they may not have realized that today has even more significance—it’s #SelfieSunday. And we have a feeling #SelfieSunday is never going to be the same again—all thanks to Ellen Degeneres!
The host of the 86th Academy Awards wasn’t nominated for any awards, but she still had her eyes on a prize at the Oscars. So what did she go for? Most retweeted tweet EVER!
So how did she go about breaking the goal? By taking the most epic selfie of all time—featuring Jennifer Lawrence, Kevin Spacey, Lupita Nyong’o, Bradley Cooper, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Meryl Streep and many more superstars!

Ellen's tweet already beat out President Barack Obama for the most retweeted tweet of all time.
Before today, a pic of the Prez and First Lady Michelle Obama, with the caption “Four more years”—which he tweeted shortly after winning his second term—held the top spot.
That tweet has 778,000. Ellen's tweet is quickly approaching a million.
