During her run on Dancing With the Stars, Pamela Anderson (and partner Damian Whitewood) were no strangers to the dreaded bottom two, but sadly, there was no reprieve this time. “I’ll miss the challenge of applying myself and learning something really quickly,” Pamela said after the show. “The experience was fantastic. It was like a little play I got to do every week, and I put everything I could think of into every performance. We had a lot of people behind us, and fans. I appreciate it because I loved this.”
After receiving impressive scores and praise from the judges this week for coming into her own as a dancer, the elimination was bittersweet for Pamela. As part of Team Gaga on Monday’s performance show, Pamela’s team was chosen as Tuesday’s encore dance. However, a cut to her leg prevented her from participating. After Monday’s performance, Pamela told In Touch, “I want to do it again right now — I can do it better!" And she was hoping for the encore to prove herself, but it was not to be.

Pamela Anderson and Damian Whitewood
Eliminated May 4
What are your thoughts on leaving?
Pamela: Well, I think we did really good. It’s a little surreal it’s all over with, but we did pretty good. Maybe I will wake up and it didn’t really happen.
What did you injure that stopped you from dancing the encore dance?
Pamela: I cut my leg, so I was supposed to stay off it today.
Damien: It happened during the tango.
What will you miss most about being in the competition?
Pamela: All my friends here. I’ll stay in touch with everybody, so probably the challenge of trying to learn a new dance. I liked that challenge and working hard at something so I will miss that and our rehearsals. I can’t eat pierogies anymore – darn it.
Damian: I’ll miss the rehearsals and everything that goes with it — bringing her dance ability up and the performance side of it. We both loved what we were doing and had that loving caring relationship about it.
How will you stay fit now?
Pamela: I am going to get in the ocean. I promised myself I would learn how to surf this year. I do it a little and have my pink surfboard, so I am ready to get in the ocean.
What else is on your to-do list?
Pamela: I am learning French and sewing, making outfits, and I have a mannequin in my bedroom. I am always learning new things, as I think that it’s important that as you get older not to think that you are too old to learn something new. You need to keep evolving and putting things in your pocket to make you live better.
What convinced you to finally do the show, as they had been trying for you since season one?
Pamela: It was timing. My kids are older now, and I thought I’d have the time. Now they are 12 and 13 I thought it would fit into the schedule, and I could rehearse while they were at school.
So what’s next for you?
Pamela: I have a lot of things lined up. I have my clothing line, fragrance, body and hair care, all this organic stuff. I always have a lot of things going on, but performance-wise, I am not sure.
