Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Takes Daughter Simone as His Date to the People’s Choice Awards

It was father-daughter date night at the 2017 People’s Choice Awards for Dwayne Johnson and his oldest girl Simone.

The 15-year-old beauty accompanied her famous dad to the event, where he walked away with the Favorite Premium Series Actor for his role on Ballers.

“Big night. Lots of famous people and stuff. Midnight and all the babies are asleep. Dog too,” he captioned an Instagram pic of his award after the show. “Takin’ a quiet moment of gratitude… THANK YOU. It’s an honor and privilege to work hard for you and entertain you.”

The former pro wrestler also made headlines for giving Kevin Hart the finger during the comedian’s acceptance speech for Favorite Comedic Movie Actor.

“So, this one goes to all the co-stars that I’ve had except for The Rock, because he hasn’t helped me,” Kevin joked on stage before his was flipped off by his Jumanji co-star. “You’ve actually lessened my talent, it’s gone down since you’ve been in my life.”

Along with being censored on live television, the 44-year-old actor also spent time with girl group Fifth Harmony — whom he introduced to his daughter back stage.

Dwayne is also a doting dad to 13-month-old daughter Jasmine, who he welcomed with longtime girlfriend Lauren Hashian.

The “Sexiest Man Alive” recently opened up fatherhood and always putting his daughters first.

“One of the best things that has happened is the fact that I became a dad at 29, very young [and] at the height of my wrestling career,” he told People magazine. “I was always on the road, splitting my time and then becoming a dad later in life too as well.”

He continued, “It’s really been this awesome, interesting, fascinating balance between an amazing, beautiful 15-year-old who teaches me, to [her] amazing, beautiful [sister], [an 11-month-old] baby. You just hope that you take the lessons that you learned in life and you can apply them properly. I think I’m a good dad.”
