Drake officially needs to find his chill.

Following President Barack Obama‘s heartfelt farewell speech, the rapper took to Instagram to honor the politician late Tuesday night.

In the photo below, the Toronto-based rapper’s beard and signature haircut is seemingly photoshopped into a photo of Obama, but while his caption came from a good place, the photo received an intense amount of backlash from fans.

“As a Canadian that calls America home for part of the year I will always carry your words and the memory of your time in office with me as inspiration. Big up yaself O,” he captioned.

Fans took to social media to call out Drake shortly after the photo was uploaded, claiming the snap was disrespectful and even a bit narcissistic.

“Way to make a historic presidency and moment in time about yourself. So out of touch it’s sad,” one follower commented, while another added, “Drake, you’re the best but you’re so corny for this.”

Drake’s photo mashup with Obama isn’t exactly the first time it’s been referenced. During an appearance on Saturday Night Live last year, the rapper had poked fun at the photo with a song describing all the memes he’s been featured in.

“How can I explain to my mama, when you got my beard on Obama,” he sang during the show’s opening.

The 30-year-old has yet to respond to the backlash, although we doubt he will.

In other Drake news, In Touch recently learned the rapper and reported girlfriend Jennifer Lopez have hit a rough patch in their relationship. A source revealed the couple has been fighting nonstop over plans to have children. While Drake is hoping to start a family with his lady love, JLo just isn’t interested, as she’s already parent to twins Emme and Max, 8.

“She’s done having babies. But Drake’s at a point in his life where he wants it all,” a source exclusively revealed.
