Why did America’s most famous bounty hunters Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” and his wife Beth Chapman hop a plane from Hawaii to head to New Jersey, where they went to pick a fight with Gov. Chris Christie?

It seems that Dog and Beth were mad at the Republican after a so-called “criminal justice reform” law that the government signed led to what they say are consequences they didn’t like, including the murder of a father of two in April by an alleged killer who was released early due to Christie’s reform law.

Gov. Christie – who is known for emotional outbursts like his recent rant at a baseball game after someone criticized him – didn’t take too kindly to Dog and Beth’s Monday press conference. He immediately lashed out at the two, telling them to bring it in the style of a typical bully… but never apologized to the family of Christian Rodgers, the man who was allegedly killed by someone who benefitted from Christie’s early release program.

Of course, Duane Chapman is not one to back down from a fight and neither is his wife Beth, as anyone who has seen their legendary reality show for even a minute knows. Beth told In Touch exclusively, “The nerve of Gov. Christie to not even apologize to the family of the man who his policies killed gets my goat. Who does that? His arrogance is getting people killed.”

Governor Christie has famously had “Bridgegate” and “Beachgate” – where he and his family had a state beach all to themselves after the budget-strapped governor shut down all state parks on July 4 to NJ residents – but Beth said he now has Bailgate, a shady scheme where he bought a criminal risk assessment tool from a company connected to New Jersey’s former Attorney General.

Dog added that he plans to go to New Jersey to start to hunt down their 10 most wanted, just to show Gov. Christie how law and order is done.
