UPDATE: DMX's lawyer Murray Richman called these allegations "completely absurd" and states "anyone who believes it makes no sense at all."
"He was leaving a show, a very successful show, and he stopped for gas," Murray told E! News.
"Four young men approached him for a photo. They took photos and they offered [DMX] drugs. He said no and told them to go...They had an argument and next thing you know, they are accusing him of robbery. Just nonsense."
Rapper DMX did not have a traditional holiday weekend.
A new report states the 44-year-old was involved in an armed robbery at Exxon gas station in Newark, N.J. The victim, 21, allegedly ran into DMX and his entourage outside and started talking to them before things turned ugly.
"The two had a brief conversation about rap music and during the conversation a male in DMX's entourage showed the victim a gun and demanded the victim's money," Sgt. Ronald Glover told ‘NJ.com.’

The victim allegedly coughed over the $3,200 he had and DMX “snatched it out of his hand.” The group fled the scene in a series of Escalades — but the victim was able to get one vehicle's license plate number.
No arrests have been made at this time and the investigation is still ongoing.
