It’s official. Tracee Ellis Ross — also known to her close friends (and us) as ~ #TmUrDa~ — is our hero.
The Black-ish star, 42, hosted the BET Awards last night and was tasked with introducing “young, sexy and black” artists Tyga, 25, and Chris Brown, 26. She has since been accused of throwing shade at the young artists — and, well, we understand why! Watch below:

Much like Tracee herself — we need to pause for a second.
This. Is. AMAZING! But was it shade? Let’s take a closer look, shall we?
T-Murdz literally had to stop what she was doing — and laugh! The very idea that anyone would consider those two musicians to be “sexy” was so hard to believe that she literally took it as a joke.

Our findings: Definite shade.
And the best kind of shade, too — the passive-aggressive diss, in which you don’t come out and insult someone in an obvious way, yet you make it pretty freakin’ clear you’re dissing them.

Meanwhile, Chris’ ex, Rihanna, pretty much took the opposite stance on the bad boy performer!
Despite their tumultuous past, RiRi was seen singing along when her ex took the stage last night — check it out!
