You might want to sit down for this one, because it’s a pretty big shocker: Apparently, not everything you see on reality TV is “real.”
We know, we know. Crazy stuff.
Case in point? A new report claims that TLC tried to censor Kate Gosselin’s relationship with her long-rumored boyfriend/bodyguard, Steve Neild by allegedly purchasing photos of the pair before anyone else could get their hands on 'em!

“The TLC network bought the photos so the public couldn’t see them,” a source close to the mother-of-eight tells ‘Radar Online,’ explaining the network felt the steamy photos of their alleged romance could have harmed Kate’s reputation.
While TLC denies the claims, the insider adds that the photos in question were “incriminating” and reportedly cost the network a pretty penny.

Of course, if Kate and Steve were attempting to hide their relationship, they weren’t doing a very good job!
Last April, ‘In Touch Weekly’ revealed the couple were sharing a hotel room while filming ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ in New York.
But apparently, the 40-year-old is back on the market — and looking for someone who will not only keep her out of trouble, but also set a positive example for her children.
“I would love to date,” the ‘Jon and Kate Plus Eight’ star told ‘In Touch Weekly’ earlier this month. “I would love for the kids to have that male role model.”
