A recent bout of depression has fans worried about missing fitness personality Richard Simmons, as Jan. 11, 2015 will mark one year since the 66-year-old’s last public appearance.
In November, his friends shared their troubles, alleging it has been more than six months since he was seen at his fitness studio — adding he mysteriously cut off all ties from his closest friends around March.

His rep immediately shot back at the claims he was in danger, saying he was “sad” about a knee injury, not clinically depressed.
But his loved ones aren’t buying it. His Hollywood Hills home, where pals have been banned, lacks Christmas decorations or any indication that anyone is possibly residing there.
Friends say he “was the ultimate caring person who loved interaction, and now there is none whatsoever.”

Following the initial report about his mysterious disappearance, Richard wrote to his fans on Facebook, “I am so touched by the outpouring of love and concern I have received today. I have had a tough time dealing with this injury, as it is keeping me from doing what I truly love to do and that is to teach classes around the world.”
‘TMZ’ was the first to report the latest about Richard’s disturbing disappearance.
