Well, it looks like they’ve got bad blood!
Shortly after Taylor Swift made a $250,000 donation to Kesha’s legal fund — amidst her ongoing battle with producer Dr. Luke — Demi Lovato spoke out and criticized the “Welcome to New York” singer, 26, for her style of activism.

The “TiK ToK” singer, 28, has been involved with a legal battle against her label, Sony, as she fights to get out of a contract with the music producer, who she claims sexually assaulted her.
In a court hearing on Friday, a judge denied a request to release Kesha from her contract, which stipulates that she is to record six more albums with her alleged abuser.

According to Just Jared, Demi denied her tweet was intended to insult Taylor.
“I didn’t shade Taylor. If you take it that way, [then] fine,” she allegedly wrote on Instagram. “I’m just tired of seeing women use ‘women empowerment’ and ‘feminism’ to further brands without actually being the ones that have the uncomfortable conversations.”
