There’s something special about returning home—especially when you’re an artist making your way around the world on tour for months at a time.
And Demi Lovato may have only kicked off her Neon Lights Tour earlier this month, but we have a feeling that she was especially grateful to be back in Dallas this week—thanks in part to her on-again-off-again boyfriend, Wilmer Valderrama!

The “Skyscraper” singer shared a picture of her 34-year-old former flame, along with the cast of his upcoming television series From Dusk till Dawn: The Series.
Underneath the picture, she wrote, “Thank you SO much to my #FromDuskTillDawn family for flying to Dallas for the night to see the #NEONLIGHTSTOUR!!!”

From Dusk till Dawn: The Series is an upcoming horror series being created by director Robert Rodriguez. The show—based on the 1996 film of the same name—stars Wilmer Valderrama, Don Johnson and Eiza Gonzalez, who is best known in Hollywood as the woman Liam Hemsworth was seen making out with shortly after he and Miley called off their engagement.
On Instagram, 24-year-old Eiza shared a picture of her and Demi and wrote, “You killed it last night! [You’re] insanely talented, thank you for everything, come visit soon!!”

Hmm, we can’t help but wonder what Miley would think of this new-found friendship!
Miley and Demi have a bit of a tumultuous history; even though they were always all smiles when they had to appear next to each other for Disney Channel, the two have been known to feud.
Back in 2008, Miley and her then bestie Mandy Jiroux posted a video that openly teased Demi and her BFF, Selena Gomez. More recently, in December 2013, the “Wrecking Ball” singer’s assistant and friend, Cheyne Thomas was caught mocking Demi’s emotional confession about her struggle with addiction.
At the end of the day—it’s a matter of personality.
“Miley and I are strong headed,” Demi told Seventeen magazine in 2012. “When we fight it’s brutal and we’re like, ‘We’re never going to be friends again!’ Then, two days later, we’re like, ‘I love you and I miss you!’”
We hope this pic with Eiza doesn’t cause any new tension!
