David Eason is in the clear! Just weeks before the Teen Mom 2 star is set to walk down the aisle with fiancée, Jenelle Evans, the father-of-three was granted probation.

In October 2015, David’s ex-girlfriend obtained a protective order against him after a tumultuous relationship, and in 2016, he violated that order. According to the arrest warrant from the 2016 incident obtained by RadarOnline, the child’s grandmother and aunt became “frightened” when the reality star dad “grabbed” his son after he was told to move away from him. The arrest warrant said, “Defendant was in the same location as his child, who was out with his grandmother and aunt when defendant approached and hugged [his child].”

Jenelle’s baby daddy pleaded guilty Tuesday for violating the order and managed to avoid jail time. David was originally sentenced to 60 days in jail, but when it was appealed, he was given a much more lenient sentence from a new judge. Instead, he was given just 12 months probation. Yet this isn’t the first run-in with the law he’s had. David and Jenelle’s ex-husband, Courtland Rogers, were prison cellmates when he was serving time for larceny, breaking and entering, injury to property, and drug paraphernalia possession.

Luckily — with their wedding just 17 days away — David was given a get out of jail free card. In a recent interview with Jenelle, she told In Touch exclusively that she was positive he would be there for the “I do’s,” despite the violation. “He’s going to be there,” she said, adding that they’re considering a Hawaiian honeymoon. “David makes me so happy.”
