Move over, Mohamed Jbali! 90 Day Fiancé star Danielle Mullins is using her newfound #singlelife staus for good — she’s going to college! The TLC personality, who famously wed Tunisian-born, Mohamed, recently revealed she’s hitting the books, shortly after filing for divorce. However, some eagle-eyed fans pointed out, “you can’t get a nursing license with a criminal past,” to which she responded, “My criminal charges don’t count because they are misdemeanors, not felonies.”

In 2004, Danielle was found guilty of writing a bad check and was ordered to pay restitution of $610.00 in addition to court fees. Court docs also indicated that she received two years of probation. In an interview with Starcasm, the reality star explained, “I stopped payment on a check, and when that expired, the person tried to cash it and then took me to court for passing a bad check.” The following year, she was charged with felony theft and felony fraud, however, the felony charges were ultimately dropped. She said, “I was on intensive probation for two years, did counseling and paid restitution.”

In October 2016, Danielle filed for an annulment from Mohamed and was granted a divorce in March 2017. The former couple had a rocky relationship, to say the least, with reports of cheating, fraud, and theft. After tying the knot in July 2014, Mohamed called the police on his then-wife for opening a DirecTV account in his name, destroying his clothes, and stealing his money. Danielle also accused Mohamed of cheating on her with various women, including blonde bombshell Luisa Berry. “He said he was going to Florida, but then posted photos from South Carolina to see Luisa,” Danielle told Radar at the time. “Why wouldn’t you take your wife with you? This was while we were married and he was living with me.”

These days, however, Danielle is focusing on her studies. She says her current courses include Biology, Statistics, Medical Terminology, and Psychology. Last month she posted her previous semester’s report card on social media and revealed that she finished with an “A” in Intermediate Algebra and a “B” in Academic Writing. Not too shabby!

As for her troubled past? “People make mistakes and regret it,” Danielle confessed, “but it does not mean they are a bad person.” She continued, “There are circumstances that explain why people do stuff, and it isn’t right to keeping bringing it up after so many years have passed.” Hey — we all have baggage, right?
